Why Mergers Benefits? A Case Study on Tata Company
Abstract
An attempt had been made to carry out a broad based and in-depth study that will throw up fresh and interesting perspectives on the issue. The study will try to arrive at and provide logical results and recommendations that could help TATA to make further mergers in future. Four sectors were selected from TATA group as a sample. These sectors were selected on the basis of maximum number of mergers Convenience sampling technique was used because the mergers in these sectors are more popular. Any data which had been collected earlier for some purpose are the secondary data. Indirect collection of data was done from sources containing past or recent past information like brochures, annual publication, books etc.
