Management of Competitiveness — An insight
Abstract
An attempt has been made to understand competitiveness and ability to of a nation to develop attractiveness for wealth creation by balancing economic factors with social requirements. Competitiveness amongst nations is derived on four factors of production, namely: land, capital, natural resources and labour. This article tries to analyze various factors and rank a nation’s competiveness and also provides an insight into eight factors, namely: Openness/Government/Finance/Labour/Infrastructure/Technology/Management Institution. For the benefit of readers, the author has also covered the Competition Commission of India Act, introduced by Gol in 2009
