Management Case on Distribution Challenges-At Power Tech India Ltd.
Abstract
Power-Tech, the internationally renowned brand of storage batteries had been facing several marketing and distribution challenges for its after market branded batteries in India. Senior Marketing Executive of the company had been spending great deal of time and efforts in motivating and controlling the down chain link,so as to retain the company’s market share in highly fragmented battery marketers and were making them run for their money in certain automotive segments as these people could sell at 40% lesser cost than branded ones.
